On April 15, as the whole group carried out Party history learning and education, Guo Wenqing, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of China Minmetals, and concurrently Chairman of MCC, led members of the leadership team of MCC Group to visit the enterprise exhibition hall and experienced the mission of several generations of MCC staff and the feeling of loyalty to the Party and serving the country, to further draw forward strength from the red gene, to consolidate the initial mission, to learn from experience and wisdom, and to open up a new situation of development.
Each paragraph of precious text, each yellowing old photo and each artifact bearing historical memory in the exhibition hall reproduces from many angles and in a panoramic manner the great contribution and brilliant achievements of MCC staff under the leadership of the Communist Party of China to help the country rise, vividly demonstrating that the MCC staff have written the magnificent struggle of iron and steel metallurgical construction from scratch, from small to large, from weak to strong, and from China to the world with the faith and loyalty in their bones and the passionate and fervent loyalty.
Guo Wenqing stands in front of the portrait of the labor model Comrade Ma Wanshui and the photograph of the "good secretary" Comrade Qi Ruixin. He pointed out that we should sum up the historical experience in looking back on the century-long history of the Party, continuously inherit the red gene, carry forward the fine tradition and inherit the revolutionary style, better draw the wisdom and strength to move forward from the red deeds we know and the role models around us according to the history of our enterprise's struggle, take the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party as a new historical starting point, drum up the energy to advance into the new era and strive to walk the long march of the new era.
Guo Wenqing stressed that this visit to the MCC Exhibition Hall for Party History Learning and Education is to thoroughly learn and understand the important discussion spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Party History Learning and Education so that we can learn deeply and thoroughly and get inspired, so as to learn history to understand the reason, learn history to enhance self-confidence, learn history to enhance our morals and learn history for better practice. We must deeply realize that the significance of building a national team of metallurgical construction is different from the past, and the national responsibility we have undertaken is different from the past. Therefore, we should take the century-long history of the Party as a new starting point, further strengthen our confidence and determination in reform and development, always adhere to the development vision of "focusing on the main business of MCC and building a better MCC", always stick the strategic positioning of "being the national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of capital construction, and the leader of new industries and walking along the road of high technology and high quality", so as to push forward all undertakings of MCC Group step by step and make new achievements in the new journey of building a socialist modern country.
