From the beginning of the year to March 15, CERI successively won the bid for a number of unit projects of the Relocation and Integration Project of Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., including the design of utilities and auxiliary facilities of the whole plant, EPC contracting of No.2 steelmaking plant, No.1 steelmaking plant and 1,780 mm hot strip rolling workshop, and general contracting of hot blast stove, and jointly won the bid for the plantwide gas storage and distribution and power generation project with the partners.
The Relocation and Integration Project of Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. is a strategic action of Hebei Province and Handan City to resolve the overcapacity of its steel industry to achieve environmental protection goals. In addition, it is also an important measure of HBIS for the overall planning and product structure adjustment and a major transformation and upgrading project of Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. for green development. The construction of the Relocation and Integration Project of Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. will follow the "green and low carbon, high quality and low consumption, precision and high efficiency" concept, use advanced, mature and reliable process and equipment technology, optimize the production process and layout, reduce logistics and production costs, and adopt energy-saving and low-carbon technology to realize green production.
CERI undertakes a series of general contracting of the Relocation and Integration Project of Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., which is another major project of HBIS following the New Area Projects of HBIS Group Tangsteel Company and HBIS Group Shisteel Company. The Project shows the trust of HBIS and Handan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. to CERI, and lively reflects the long-term strategic partnership between the two parties, not only consolidating the position of CERI in the metallurgical construction market in Hebei, but also building another monument for the long-term cooperative relationship between the two parties.
