On May 30, WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd. successfully concluded a contract with PT. Dexin Steel Indonesia for Phase I blast furnace expansion and converter EP project.
After expansion, the Phase I project of Dexin will cover a total area of 3,879 mu and will make the enterprise become a combined steel enterprise with long process flow and an annual output of 6000kt of iron. Previously, production line 1 of Phase I project of PT. Dexin Steel Indonesia constructed by WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd. under general contract was put into operation in March 2020, production line 2 was put into operation in February this year, and the whole line of Phase I project will be put into operation next month. As a key project of the Belt and Road Initiative, it has made outstanding contributions to the social and economic construction and development of China and Indonesia.
